We women rock!
We women rock because the hand that rocks the cradle can rock the world
Weather it is a paved path or rock-y, we are strong- as strong as a rock
We know hard-work. will come out with flying colors and shine like a rock
I just wanted (over)use ( ๐ ) โrockโ in what I wanted to say hence the lines above, instead I could have just expressed as below.
We women rock because the hand that rocks the cradle can rock the world
Women are powerful because we make difference by bringing up new generation in a right way and by ourselves โ by dominating on many fronts including career/biz
(I edited the famous saying โhand that rocks the cradle rules the world, that is, women/who raises kids can rule the world by raising the kids in a right way so that kid can make a difference in this world. I am changing it a bit by saying, if we can make a difference through our kids by raising kids correctly, why donโt we do it ourselves?, we can and we do)
Weather it is a paved path or rock-y, we are strong- as strong as a rock
We are fine in any situation โsteady or shaky. We know how to fight back and be strong (like a rock)
We know hard-work, will come out with flying colors and shine like a rock
We work hard for what we want and we excel at it, we know how to make our place and shine (like a rock – diamond)
Three cheers to these career-women!
(After reading a blog of a blog-friend, I agree women have been working since the start of human-generation then what is up with really โworking-womanโ term. So I coin a word โcareer-womanโ. Seems it is self-explanatory though one can argue that in past women had careers by helping in the family business โ say farming. I agree but it was โhelpโ and they did not make any money as blog mentions. Also it was not seen as main accountable person for the whole business. So letโs put it this way, career-woman who thrives to make difference in this world, held accountable for a role she has outside her house and makes money out of it. I can still see some arguments going, but that is not the point of this blog I have so I am not going into details.)
(and I know in that introspect, I should change my name to ICW from IWW ๐ )

I so agree with you IWW ๐ I also wrote a post about how important it is for women to work, contribute and influence the world outside their home. Imagine a world without gynaes, psychiatric, politicians, actors, teachers, CEOs etc who are women!! I just don’t get the logic of suggesting that women must choose between work or working only for her family. The family is not invalid, and if they are then the entire family must work for them, why force one member to stop contributing to the outside world, and to have dreams of her own???
The post I mention, is here,

Great! True very true
You know the way i see is, there are two front to live life in a better way, financial and household (includes family care) Now it is up to husband and wife how they want to divide work for quality of life. If one is happily ready to take care of house, and other is ok with financial responisbilty, then so be it. It can be woman staying home or man (i know some stay-home-dad) .
But if both want to have career it is must that they share household front too.
Have not read entire blog you mentioned.
Did you notice that in this blog I have given link to your blog only…. ? ๐

I agree with everything you say! We women have so much potential, and in so many cases, it is still unrealised potential. Yes, why be restricted to ‘rocking the cradle’ when we can do it all.
The time when all women are free to decide what they want to do, will truly be a wonderful day.
